Sammy's Pancake House

Really enjoyed this place! Went here for the first time and am now convinced it may be my favorite breakfast place in the CU area. Service was excellent, and what I got for food was especially good! Will definitely come back!

Great little breakfast house! We enjoyed great food and phenomenal service. We always had hot coffee being served. The French toast was fresh and hot! And the price was worth the quality of the food! We were passing through in a road trip and will have to stop here again when we are in the area!

We were looking for a place that had the traditional diner experience. Family owned and good food. Boy, were we in for treat; they checked every box. The Food: a really wide range of dishes. All reasonably priced and nice sized portions. She had oatmeal with brown sugar. They gave her a side of blueberries, which was a nice touch. She also got a cup of coffee that had free refills. I had the vegetarian skillet with Monterey Jack cheese and two scrambled eggs. Our service was stellar and fast and friendly. She was on point for everything the menus, the drinks, and the refreshing the drinks. The atmosphere was very nice as well. It has optional seating - booths or tables. The chairs are on casters, so they can easily cater to ADA requirements. It means they can handle large groups like teams as well. This is a very well ran restaurant.

I always love going to Sammy's! The staff are always friendly and the food is always good. It's definitely one of my favorites and the best breakfast restaurant in Chambana. My go-to is typically the Tennessee Skillet but today I tried the Stuffed Biscuits and Gravy. YUM!

So happy we discovered Sammy's! The French toast is every bit as good as advertised. Our waiter Rachel was attentive and friendly, and the menu will keep us busy trying new items, like the eggs benedictine another customer ordered. We plan to become 'regulars' at this awesome pancake house.

It was my first time eating breakfast at Sammy's Pancake House in Champaign. It was very busy at 9:30am on a Friday but the service was great and the waitress was very attentive. I had the Greek Skillet that was made with potatoes, onions, feta cheese, gyro meat, and scrambled eggs over the top along with pancakes. It was so good that I ate every bit of it and I was so stuffed that I skipped lunch. The menu at Sammy's is huge with a variety of delicious selections for every taste bud. This was the toughest part about eating at Sammy's since everything looked so good that it took me awhile to pick what I wanted. I can see why Sammy's was so busy that Friday morning. I definitely recommend it.

Last Sunday was my first time at Sammy's, and it will not me my last time going. The place was busy and the staff was awesome. I had the Gyro skillet. There is plenty of gyro meat and feta cheese.

Our waitress was very friendly and helpful; so was the guy who assigned us our table. Every dish my family and I ordered was delicious, truly!
